Prof. Chen has been appointed as an Editorial Board Member of Transportation Research Part F: Traffic Psychology and Behaviour, a leading journal in the field of traffic psychology and driver behaviour research.

In addition to this role, Prof. Chen actively contributes to the academic community as a Guest Editor for Transportation Research Part A: Policy and Practice, Multimodal Transportation, and Research in Transportation Business & Management, and serves as a Special Issue Editor for Case Studies on Transport Policy.
